Recent complaints of secondhand smoke from building residents have been received by Management and the Board. We kindly ask any residents who smoke, or permit others to smoke while in their apartment, to be courteous of their neighbors and consider measures that will reduce the spread and impact of secondhand smoke on others. Options include the installation of weather-stripping around your front door, sealing any holes or cracks, which Mike Kortoci can assist with, and the use of an air purifier in your home. As mentioned at the annual shareholder meeting, we were able to remove a massive, unused, oil tank from the basement and repurposed the space to accommodate storage lockers. The lockers are now almost ready for your use. If you would like to see the lockers, an “open house” will be scheduled when construction is complete in approximately two or three weeks from now. Once a date has been determined, advance notice will be given. Forty-four (44), mostly double-stacked, lockers of varying sizes will be available for rent beginning March 1, 2017.
