Gym Rate to Increase on 1/1/13

The introductory rate of $150 per household (per year) to join the gym will expire at year end.  The new rate as of 1/1/13 will be $200 per household (per year).  If you’ve been on the fence, you should join now to take advantage of the discounted rate.  The membership forms can be downloaded here.

The gym is available to shareholder residents and their households.  Replacement key fobs are $10. Personal trainers are not permitted. More >

Vote Often

The poll site for our building has changed this year. It is now located at 133 East 13 Street, Manhattan. That’s between 3rd and 4th Avenues – a little further away than before but well worth every step. Voting for the President of the United States will be good practice for Thursday when shareholders will vote for the Co-op Board Members.

For more information on the US ELECTIONS visit the Board of Elections website. You can even download a preview of the ballot.

For more information on the CO-OP ELECTIONS you can download an explanation of voting and proxies here and view statements from all the candidates here. More >

Before jumping for joy – a big thanks to an amazing staff:

Angel, Danny, Dermot, Ed, Jorge, Miguel, Tony, and Ubiel.

During the storm they have worked extra long hours, looking after many of the residents, carrying trash dow 20 flights of stairs, and undoubtably, many other things that you and I will never see. We’re very lucky to have them with us. More >

Hurricane Update

Apologies for not posting sooner but life has been a little complicated this week.

For those of you staying elsewhere, there is still no power in the building as of 3pm on Friday. We have been told to expect the service will be restored after midnight on Saturday.

When the power is restored there may be running toilets and plumbing issues. They will be addressed as quickly as possible. Please let the front desk know if you have any plumbing problems when power is restored.
