We are pleased to inform you that we have contracted Century Elevator to perform modernization of both elevators. The project will commence on or about January 7, 2013 and will take approximately 16 weeks to complete.
Unfortunately, for the duration of the project we will have use of only one elevator at a time. One elevator will have to be used to provide vertical transportation for residents, removal of garbage, and any other type of use needed on a daily basis.
If you are expecting to perform any renovations in your apartment after January 2013, we suggest they be put on hold until the elevator modernization is completed. Due to the availability of only one elevator, there will most certainly be longer waiting times for the elevator to take you up and down. Please allow extra time for delays.
If you are planning to move out or have someone move in to the building while there is limited use of the elevator, please be advised that priority use will be given to residents. You must notify your moving company to allow for these types of delays when scheduling a move.
We apologize in advance for any inconvenience you may experience. The process may be difficult but we think the end result will be worth it.
